ABOUT US

The Hibernian Newman Club was founded in 1964. It was established by San Francisco Bay Area Irish Americans  dedicated to:

  1. The Newman Centers in the San Francisco Archdiocese.

  2. The appreciation of the contributions made to this community by the Irish Americans, and

  3. The promotion of friendship, community and charity among its members.

The Hibernian Newman Club is proud to boast that our members who live in, or around the City, continue to honor and support these endeavors. These activities are the mission of the Hibernian Newman Club.

In order to carry on with our mission, the members continue to organize one of the premier St. Patrick’s Day Luncheons in the country. The luncheon brings together local politicians, community and church officials and the Bay Area’s Irish Americans and friends.
